Glory Seed Devotionals, 2016: Year of the Blessing

A new day arrives rise to the occasion…

First of all I need to apologize for  missing two days. Friday we needed to leave town early and yesterday I needed to work on this computer getting it ready. I permit myself to miss one day occasionally but two days in a row is a no-no for me. Hopefully my computer problems have been taken care of.

This evening the sun will slowly slip below western horizon and another busy day comes to an end.

The old passes away making way for what is to become new.

As the sun sets and the world darkens familiar scenes suddenly become disguised and unfamiliar. Yesterday’s frustrations will make way for tomorrow’s hopes. And because of the forward movement of time the sun will rise again. And the unfamiliar once again becomes familiar.

And so it is with life. When the sun sets on the circumstances of your life your world becomes dark and unfamiliar. The old day passes away and becomes history making way for a new day.

As our lives beat in time with the pulse of God’s Heart the SON gives us the gift of tomorrow, the old passes away and your life will be as a new day. “This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun! And all of this is a gift from God, who brought us back to himself through Christ. And God has given us this task of reconciling people to him. For God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, no longer counting people’s sins against them. And he gave us this wonderful message of reconciliation.” (2 Corinthians 5:17–19, NLT)

Believe in presence of the GOD and in the strength of his GRACE!
